Lake Bunyonyi

Near the border of Rwanda is this very picturesque lake and is also known as Africa’s Switzerland. Lake Bunyonyi is surrounded by lush green hills and the lake is covered by about twenty small magical islands. A mokoro (a hollow tree) can bring you to the floating markets and allow you to enjoy the peaceful surrounding. The lake is bilharzia free, so no danger for annoying parasites.
