Harkerville Forets Lodge offers 32 campsites with private ablutions. Various other accommodation is also offered; a two bedroomed forest chalet, two double rooms, en-suite, with exclusive private entrances, in the guest house, A Bunk House with two twelve -bed and twelve four-bed dormitories, leading off a central BBQ and dining area, with full use of a small kitchen. Inside the Bunk House, we have a male and female ablution facility with hot and cold showers. To top this, we offer a tree house for that breakaway with a difference! The tree house consists of a small room with two single beds, mounted in a tree. Ablution facilities are outside on the camp grounds. Linen is supplied. A tea garden on the deck with adjacent swimming pool and licensed bar and Pool table, enhances the Lodge. The Lodge is also wheelchair friendly. Plettenberg Bay is a world-reknown holiday destination, but somehow still manages to remain a casual and friendly seaside town. Our park has about 270 sites, of which 32 are located on the water's edge and the others very close to the lagoon. For 11 months of the year you can choose almost any site to meet your needs, although in peak season bookings are essential to secure a spot. All sites are grassed, with electrical plugs and ablution facilities nearby. Fresh water taps are spread among the sites and there are a number of free-standing braai's available. Whether you are using a caravan or motor home or simply camping in a tent... we guarantee you will enjoy your stay with us. This is a family-run park and we endeavour to offer a safe, friendly environment for children (and parents!) to enjoy the outdoor life. In the heart of South Africa's famous Garden Route, a captivating world of lakes, rivers, estuaries and beaches gently unfolds against a backdrop of lush forest and lofty mountains - all elements that characterise the Wilderness National Park. Nature trails wind through densely wooded forest and along tranquil rivers, affording you the opportunity to encounter the brilliantly coloured Knysna lourie, or one of the five kingfisher species that occur here. During spring, a carpet of flowers, further enhance the verdant beauty of this national park. Both restcamps have caravan and campsites on the banks of the Touw River, communal ablution and scullery facilities. Some sites at Ebb & Flow Restcamp (South) are equipped with 220V power points. The power points are for caravan plugs only; to be able to use a normal three-point plug you need the applicable adapter. Portable braais are supplied - please inquire at Reception. A maximum of six persons, one caravan with a side tent and one vehicle, or one tent and one vehicle, or one autovilla or one motorised caravan will be permitted per site.

The Nieuwoudt-Farm belongs to the family for several generations. Citrus and mangoes are grown. Rooibos tea grows wild in the mountains. The campsite is situated on the banks of the Rondegat River and has an ablution block with hot water made from natural rocks. There are 26 sites along the river and most are equipped with electric points. This campsite is ideal for nature lovers. There are several natural rockpools in the river. Even in season one can still find an unoccupied private place at the river. The hiking trails start from there.

Situated in a spectacular section of the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, the main activities revolve around mountain hiking with many scenic trails.
