Day 1 |
Cape Town city tour
Arrival in Cape Town. Refreshing in the
hotel. Visit to South Africa's 'Mother City' on top of Table Mountain.
We continue with a historical city centre tour where you will get the
perfect impressions what this city has to offer. Visit to the Castle of Good
Hope, VOC Botanical Gardens, South African Museum and the scenic Bo-Kaap.
Overnight including breakfast in the stylish and romantic hotel or guest
house.

Day 2 |
Robben Island
Robben Island is a World Heritage Site. The most famous person living on
the island was formal president Nelson Mandela. Boat cruise to the island
including a visit into the formal maximum security prison.
In the evening drive to the top of Signal Hill to view the city lights.

Day 3
|
Cape Peninsula and the Cape of Good
Hope
Once described as "the fairest Cape of all"
but the bizarre Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and McLear Beacon are feared
during maritime history.
The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is part of the
Table Mountain National Park, the smallest of the 6 flora belts on our
planet. Visit to the penguin colony at
Boulders Beach.
Overnight including breakfast.

Day 4 |
Cape Winelands
Idyllic landscapes in the Cape Winelands. Visits to Stellenbosch,
Franschhoek and Paarl.
Overnight in a romantic hotel or guest
house.

Day 5 |
Cape Town region
Visit to Rhodes Memorial in honour of John Cecil Rhodes,
the first Prime Minister of the Cape Colony and founder of the diamond giant
the Beers. We continue to Groot Constantia, the Grande Dame of the Cape Wine
estates.
Picnic in the afternoon in the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. We
end the day with a romantic sunset at Blouberg Beach.

romantic hotel or guest house in Cape Town.

Day 6 |
Garden Route – George/Knysna
Inland flight from Cape Town to George.
The purest romantic landschapes between George and Knysna. Drive with the
historic
Outeniqua Choo Tjoe steam train. We continue to Knysna, a lovely town
situated along the picturesque Knysna Lagoon.
Overnight including breakfast in Knysna.

Day 7 |
Oudtshoorn
Departing in Knysa and drive via George
and the
Outeniqua Pass to
Oudtshoorn, the centre of the South African ostrich industry, situated in
the Small Karoo. Visit to an ostrich farm.
Outdtshoorn is also famous for its annual Klein Karoo
Festival (March), an international event of cabaret, music and theatre.
Visit to the Cango Caves, a gigantic cave with some nice surprises.
Overnight including breakfast in Oudtshoorn.

Day 8 |
Hermanus
Leaving Knysna and drive to Hermanus. Visit to the
Harold Porter National Botanical Garden.
Hermnus is a small fishermen town with one
of the best whale sightings in the world between May and November.
Overnight including breakfast in Hermanus.

Day 9 |
Hermanus – Kleinmond

Cape Town
Leaving Hermanus along the R44 coastal road. If
time allows enjoying your last moments in South Africa on the beach from
Gordon's Bay or Strand.
Flight back home in the afternoon.
