Shibula Lodge and Bush Spa is a 5-star
lodge in the Waterberg, Northern Province. In 2003 awarded by 'Getaway' as
the top-10 romantic destination in South Africa. Shibula Lodge is situated
in the 36.000 ha Private
Welgevonden Game Reserve which is on its turn part of a larger 100.000 ha
nature reserve. The area is known for its bio-diversity and home to the Big
5 and 350 bird species.
The biggest advantage from the Welgevonden Nature
Reserve is: malaria free, affordable accommodation and only 2.5 hours
dirving from Johannesburg near Vaalwater.
Standard
Units 3a and 3b can be arranged as an inter-leading room, ideal for a family
with children. Unit 3a is wheelchair friendly and has a fireplace. The three
units are built next to one another and are part of one building offering
less privacy than the 4 suites and luxury chalets. The units are in a lower
price range than the luxury units, ideal for the price conscious guests.
