The fully serviced lodge provides an extraordinary
adventure for nature lovers, where a tastefully decorated lounge area
outside - under the thatch - overlooks the seasonal river bed and
water-hole. An elevated wooden deck provides restful game viewing in the
shade of the large Weeping Boer-bean overlooking the river bed and
water-hole.

Dining takes place in the “Boma” where the peaceful
outdoors assist in relaxing the soul. With self-catering as an option, meals
may be prepared in the kitchen or over the fire in the “Boma”. The
experience of Nyala will be etched in your memory forever. |
Nyala River Lodge

Nyala River Lodge is situated in the
Mohlabetsi Conservancy
in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The lodge is build on the banks of
the Mohlabetsi River, meaning 'sweet waters'.
The 7 large thatched rondavels and thatched family cottage
accommodating single groups from 2 to 14 guests in total. At Nyala River
Lodge, the rondavels are graciously decorated, each comprising an en-suite bathroom. A
modern central kitchen - that is fully equipped - and an indoor dining area
for the self-catering enthusiasts.
Generous bathsheets are provided in the en-suite bathrooms
while the deck at Nyala - that is shaded by the enormous and ancient ebony
trees - juts out above the dry riverbed of the Mohlabetsi River and affords
wonderful views of the waterhole to complete the Safari Experience.
Situated on 4000 hectare where
lion, cheetah, buffalo, leopard, rhino and plains game roam.
Self-catering or optional
full board includes 2 game drives per day or a game drive and guided bush
walk.
