Situated on a 2500ha game farm in
spectacular mountains, between Mossel Bay and George, Protea Hotel
Botlierskop Private Game Reserve offers a great diversity of wildlife and
activities, as well as luxurious, tented accommodation in private suites
along the river. Guests can enjoy a safari experience with 4x4 open safari
vehicles and this within driving distance from Cape Town.
Rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, eland,
bontebok and 26 other species. We have a total of 1800 animals wherefrom 4
lions which we have saved from death.
Overnight in a luxury en-suite tent or
make a daytrip visit including game drive, bush walk, elephant back ride,
quad biking and helicopter flips.

Each of the 12 luxury-tented suites at
Botlierskop is elegantly decorated in a romantic colonial theme with
4-poster beds draped with mosquito nets. The en-suite bathrooms are lavishly
equipped with deep baths and and stunning views.

Dining facilities:
A large open-air deck, overlooking the valleys, brings together fauna and
flaura with relaxing African sounds in the distance. Here, where heaven and

elegant thatched roof and volcanic rock restaurant provides the perfect
setting for a unique dining experience you won't want to miss.

carte menu, serving true South African cuisine with a modern twist and not

Botlierskop is the proud owner of
elephant who arrived on 13 June 2004. Totsie is 21 year old and Sam
24 year. We were the first reserve in the Garden Route offering elephant
back rides.
