Spier Hotel and Golf Estate

This golf course, directly beside the Stellenbosch golf course, is
quite a tricky one. Water, gigantic fairways and deep green bunkers make
a golfer's life difficult. There is a spectacular tee situated on an
island. Once you attack the green, you need to hit an approximately 200
metres carry. There is also a simpler way, but the ball needs to go
across the water.
A scenically beautiful environment, vineyards as far as
the eye can see, with the superb panorama of the Stellenbosch mountains
in front of you.
Kleine Zalze Golf Estate
The 300 hectare Winelands golf
estate (co developed by Spier) will in addition to the championship golf
course, be able to offer all its visitors the opportunity to enjoy 'on site'
wine tastings, a golf hotel as well as delicious cuisine in either the
Kleine Zalze restaurant "Terrior", the De Zalze clubhouse, or the nearby
Spier Estate. Other golf courses in the area are the
Stellenbosch Golf Course and the Erinvale Golf Course just outside Somerset
West.
