Lost City: African Oasis
Gary Player has exceeded all expectations with
the design of one of the best golf course in the world. You will
agree that this course is an art above all others. This makes the
Lost City Course unforgettable from the first to the last hole.
Players who like exceptional things will
fall in love with this course. We have some exceptional holes to
offer such as hole 10 where Gary Player put plants in the middle and
hole 12 where a serial bunkers cut the fairway in half.
Gary Player opened the course in 1993 and will
get better with the years.
The 13th hole is with no doubt the most
memorable one, its green has the shape of the African continent and
the sand with three colours symbolises the people from this country.
The view from the green is phenomenal, an true
African oasis bordering the volcanic Pilanesberg
National Park.
