South Africa, a large, scenically splendid and
humanly diverse country at the foot of the African continent, is
home to over 46 million people from at least 20 ethnic groups. The
country is as large as Germany, France and Italy put together.
jThe cold Benguela current on the Atlantic and
the warm Mozambique-Agulhas currents on the east wash the country's
2,954 km coastline. The climate is determined by these two currents.
South Africa's climate is moderate and its topography ranges from
highveld grassland to semi-desert to subtropical swamps - home to
some of the world's most diverse animal and plant kingdoms. South
Africa is the only country in the world iwth an entire floral
kingdom - the Cape Fynbos which is declared World Heritage!
Cape Town belongs to the most beautiful cities
in the world, it is a world city with interesting history, excellent
museums, lively markets, the beautiful restored Victoria & Alfred
Waterfront and of course Table Mountain.
The Western Cape, KwaZulu Natal and Mpumalanga
Provinces are the most visited provinces in the country. However
there is a lot more to discover!!
The Western Cape is known for its magnificent
beaches, beautiful gardens, the winelands, superior hotels and one
of the most welcoming people you have ever met.
