The Slanghoek Mountain Resort is nestled in the magnificent and clandestine,
Slanghoek Valley, on the slopes of the Badsberg Conservation Area, waiting
to welcome those who appreciate spectacular views, adventure filled
activities and natural beauty of the indigenous fynbos. During winter months
the Slanghoek Valley reveals some of its secret beauty when its mountains
are covered with snow. |

All safari tents are equipped
with refrigerators, microwave ovens, electric frying pans, kettles and
toasters. All basic cutlery and crockery. Camp table with chairs. There
is a kitchen sink on the stoep. Loose standing braai with grid. All
bedding included except for the double sleeper couches in the four
sleepers. Each tent includes two towels.

This luxury flat forms part of the old "Opstal" on the farm. It was
renovated to it's old original character.

Chalets
All chalets are equipped with heaters, fans,
refrigerators, microwave ovens, stoves, kettles and toasters. All basic
cutlery and crockery. Bedding and towels provided. An indoor braai with
black iron pot (except chalet 7) and a braai grid are a bonus for cold
winter nights. 10 DSTV channels in the chalets.

Slanghoek Mountain resort has a Welsh Pony Stud. The modern Welsh pony is
known as a riding and driving pony. It is shown both in hand and under
saddle. Our horses are mainly used for horse show competitions and are also
driven in harness racing at horse shows and other types of exhibitions or
ceremonies often pulling carriages. The Welsh pony’s are highly intelligent
friendly animals, but we are only in the beginning stages of our stud and
therefore the pony’s are only used for in hand horse shows and not for
riding as yet. We have other horses that are suitable mounts for both
children and adults.
