Built at the end of the 19th century. The beautiful homestead is surrounded by magnificent gardens which were even in several gardening magazines. This garden was over the years a venue for many weddings and evening parties.

We offer 14 comfortable en-suite rooms and three estate cottages each with their own fireplace, kitchenette and veranda overlooking the vineyards and the dam.

Our conference venue offers space for 35 delegates and 120 guests for dinner.

Visitors can enjoy a mountainbike ride, horseriding, line fishing and walks in the surrounding mountain fynbos.

The famous wine routes from Stellenbosch - Paarl - Franschhoek and Wellington can be reached within minutes. Famous golf courses are within driving distance from the estate.

Guest Accommodation

Diemersfontein offers 4 luxury rooms in the Manor House while the other rooms are in the magnificent garden. The Garden Rooms are overlooking the garden, pool area and the surrounding mountains. These rooms are decorated in traditional country style.

Conference room

The Diemersfontein conference centre was once a large fruit store room from the Diemersfontein Farm. Today it is transformed into a modern conference room with air-conditioning, a small kitchen and modern conference facilities.

Each wedding or special occasion is a beautiful scenery worth it. We make your special day an unforgettable.

Seasons Restaurant overlooking the farm dam and paddocks offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and a delicious 'side attraction' menu for snacks in between meal times.
Food and Wine Pairing at Seasons - min. 6 people.
Picnics for two including wine can be arranged through Seasons and enjoyed at one of our shady, peaceful picnic spots.
Walks for in-house guests through the Wellington winelands or hiking in the Limietberg can be arranged through Diemersfontein.
Horse riding through vineyards and fynbos foothills from 1 hour to 3 day trails can be arranged through Diemersfontein or fynbos trails.
Vineyard Tractor rides - Min. 6 people. Glass of wine included.
