| Untouched African bush in a picturesque landscape. Iketla Lodge
is located in a natural basin shaped by the surrounding mountains and rocks.
It is a place where one can relax and an affordable price. Iketla
is situated in a 540 ha private nature reserve, is malaria free and just
north of the famous Panorama Route near the Blyde River Canyon. It is only a
4 hour drive from Johannesburg, Kruger Park and many private game reserve
can easily be reached.
Iketla is lovely place offering accommodation for a
maximum of 12 guests which assure a personal service in a unique African
landscape.
The comfortable rooms offer queen- or two twin beds,
en-suite bathroom with shower, ceramic basin and a separate toilet. A very
exotic extra are the open showers where one can enjoy the view and the
African sky at night.
The main building with thatched roof offers a cosy
lounge, dining room and bar with view on the reserve. Guest have the same
view from the open sun deck and the pool.
Our guests are accommodated in spacious en-suite stone cottages with
thatched roof and each cottage has a patio with view over the mountains and
the beautiful valley.
One of the most exciting activities are individual or
guided walks or moutainbike rides in the bush.
The excellent location of our lodge offers the opportunity to explore the
historical mining town of Pilgrim's Rest, Graskop, Bourke's Luck Potholes,
Blyde River Canyon and God's Window. |
