Molori CLIFTON
The latest custom creation by international entrepreneur, hotelier and
renowned designer Kirk Lazarus, Molori Clifton is Cape Town’s only true
luxurious beach retreat, perched above one of the world’s most spectacular
beaches. Molori Clifton is comprised of two extraordinary villas ‘The
Clifton’ and ‘The Beach House’, which is located side by side, each with its
own private entrance. Combining unparalleled design, comfort and
originality, Molori Clifton evokes the feeling of a luxurious home, with
each suite designed in its own style – characterized by distinct
furnishings, state-of-the-art amenities and unique items sourced from all
over the world. |

Located on the opposite side of the top floor is Molori Clifton's spacious
and elegantly appointed Presidential Suite, which features wrap-around
retractable glass walls showcasing the incredible surrounding sights –
including the Atlantic coastline and Twelve Apostles mountain range – as
well as a floating daybed located on the private wrap-around terrace. With
every comfort carefully considered, the Presidential Suite features
extensive walk-in closets and a boudoir; a private media room and study; and
a master bathroom with his and hers basins, a spacious marble bathtub and a
separate steam shower.
The main floor features a spacious lounge adorned with eclectic touches such
as a custom-designed sofa, spanning 4,5 m from arm to arm; two 1 m real
lobster-turned-art centerpieces and an impressive tropical fish tank perched
atop a cozy fireplace, which separates the space from the inventive bar
lounge. A nod to the area's lively beach scene, the bar lounge features the
owner’s personal vintage surfboard mounted to the top of the bar. Behind the
surfboard bar are four giant flat screens, all programmed to a vivid live
stream of Clifton Beach, as well as a 2,7 m vintage French round clock whose
wooden hands are playfully set to 11:55 p.m. – the one-of-a-kind antique
embodies the Molori ethos that time is inconsequential, allowing guests to
enjoy at their own pace.

Showcasing
the brand's signature open-air design aesthetic, Molori Clifton's custom
retractable glass walls offer a seamless transition between the indoors and
out, capturing the spirit of the property's spectacular natural
surroundings. Each individual suite is king-bedded, featuring sleek
interiors and cutting-edge technology, including individual iPod docking
stations.
Spanning three levels, Molori Clifton's stunning six-suite main villa ‘The
Clifton’ totals 1,077 m² and accommodates up to 12 guests. The top floor
features two guest suites perfectly outfitted with customized woods and
fabrics, each with en-suite bathrooms replete with generous his and hers
sinks, a rain shower and separate bathtub; walk-in closets and a boudoir;
kitchenettes with espresso machines; and private terraces offering
breathtaking views of Clifton Beach.
The main floor also houses a state-of-the-art chef's kitchen and a private
dining area seating 24; mounted on a column located at the end of the dining
table is an exquisite blow-up image of Marilyn Monroe in her iconic white
halter dress, giving the illusion that the Hollywood star is posing at the
table's edge, her skirt suspended in mid-air. Measuring 464,5 m², the
outdoor space features a wrap-around deck with an infinity pool and Jacuzzi,
as well as a barbecue and outdoor fireplace ideal for entertaining al
fresco. Located inside the swimming pool are two retro-chic '60s style
chairs perfect for sunbathing amidst the spectacular ocean views, while the
deck's numerous daybeds and chaise lounges provide the ideal perch for
poolside pampering. Accommodations on the main floor include two guest
suites with en-suite bathrooms and steam rooms.
The lower level of The Clifton features an additional guest suite; a modern
spa offering a variety of spa services and steam room accommodating 12
guests, with maritime-inspired windows that look out onto Clifton Beach; a
state-of-the-art gym; and a cutting-edge media room that seats 12.
All of the six guest suites and common areas in The Clifton are adorned with
retractable glass walls, allowing for direct ocean views and endless natural
light.
Molori Clifton's second villa ‘The Beach House’, where interiors total 6,500
sq. ft. (604 m2), features three suites and accommodates six guests. Also
spanning three levels, this villa's top floor features three guest suites
with en-suite bathrooms replete with his and hers sinks, rain showers and
separate bathtubs. The master suite features a lavish sitting area and
connects to another suite via an expansive ocean-view terrace, complete with
a six-person Jacuzzi. Both suites feature private steam showers, ample
closet space, and retractable glass walls offering magnificent views of the
azure Atlantic seaboard. The third suite is back-facing with a view of
Lion’s Head Mountain.
