IKHAYA LODGE iKhaya means `the home'
or ‘the house’ in Xhosa. Ikhaya Lodge
is a unique African styled boutique hotel in the centre of Cape Town which
has become world renowned for its stunning and authentic African design and
its dramatic views of Table Mountain and the city bowl. Located in the
historic and trendy Dunkley Square in Cape Town, where restaurants, bistros
and businesses live side by side. iKhaya Lodge is an easy walk to
parliament, museums, art galleries, the beautiful company gardens, and the

Restaurant
A Breakfast Buffet
is served every morning between 7-10am , and a
Lunch Buffet is served between
12-3pm . We also provide an all day snack menu. Dinners for parties of 8 or
more can be arranged and need to be booked in advance. We offer a variety of
menus from sit-downs to buffet to cocktail food.
Our African Feast
buffet is one of our most popular function menu options and consists of
sampling from all over the African continent, which is truly complimented by
this unique African experience. Traditional music, such as djembe drumming,
marimba instruments or African singing, can also be added to your experience
of the iKhaya Café by prior arrangement.

Rooms Our unique and tranquil en-suite rooms provide
a homely feeling with beautiful views of Table Mountain or Cape Town city.
They are all comfortably furnished with natural materials, enclosed balcony,
private bathroom, TV, radio, telephone, safe and 24 hours reception.
Self-catering loft apartments The self-catering loft
apartments have secure separate entrances and consist of a spacious double
volume lounge with open plan kitchenette, dining room and balcony
overlooking Table Mountain or with city views.
 The loft style main bedroom
and single bedroom both have en-suite bathrooms. They are all comfortably
furnished with natural materials, TV, radio, telephone, safe and 24 hours
reception. Some have air-conditioning, hi-fi and video machines.

Parking iKhaya Lodge provides secure parking at the
back of the hotel, at no extra charge, and garages are available at a daily
rate
The iKhaya Lodge restaurant follows the African
theme beautifully with unique totem poled lighting, local sandstone
clad columns and originally carved doors. This together with
traditional local interiors and furnishings makes for a relaxing and
unique ambiance. The restaurant and lounge areas open up onto a
wooden decked patio, overlooking the Square, where you can sip a
drink or cocktail, read the newspaper or simply gaze at the wonders
of Table Mountain .
