A guest house
with a difference: three historical terrace houses which are connected with
one another, creating a city villa with 12 bedrooms. An African Villa is the
ideal location for guests visiting the Mother City.
We are situated halfway between the Victoria
and Alfred Waterfront and the Table Mountain Cable Way, in a quiet
residential neighbourhood on walking distance from the city centre and many
restaurants.
The elegant double story
Victorian house has the typical characters from those days: space. Rooms are
large, the ceiling is high and the original walls are thick and firm. The
house is dating back to the late 19th century and is recently fully restored
and decorated with an African theme. The interior breaths a peaceful
atmosphere in combination with light and colour.
Three

There is a large kitchen in the heart of
the building. Breakfast is served in the dining room and weather permitting
al fresco on the courtyard around the swimming pool. Our friendly staff: Tandi, Tselane, Anne
and Portia are ready to prepare a special breakfast for you.
Facilities: a library with free internet
access, swimming pool and comfortable garden furniture. We light up the
courtyard with lantern during hot summerdays.
All rooms have an en-suite bathroom (some
with bath and others with shower), heating during the winter months,
electronical safe, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and luxury bedding. The
standard rooms offer ceiling fans, the Classic and superior rooms have
air-conditioning.
Guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere
from one of the two lounges with a sherry, rooibosch tea or coffee. You will
be more than welcome to stock your own drinks in the fridge. A mircowave
oven and a small kitchen are at your service.
Most people would think that An African
Villa is a small boutique hotel, nothing is like that, we prefer to be a
home to our guests.
