Tsitsikamma is according to some the juwel of the Garden Route. This town
is a dream for each holiday maker and eco tourist.
Typical for the region is the Outeniqua
Forest, the last piece of Gondwana forest in Southern Africa. In the forest
are huge trees, an example is the 'Big Tree' a giant in the Tsitisikamma
National Park.
A visit to the Tsitsikamma National Park is an absolute must when visiting
the region. Picturesque beaches, swimming in the Indian Ocean and walking
over a cable suspense bridge at the Storms River Mouth.
Not far from the National Park are the
prestine beaches from Nature's Valley and the highest commercial operated
bungee in the world. |
