This beautiful 100 year old homestead, is a 5 star
property on the footslopes of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and surrounded by
indigenous rain forests. The Chapel in the Forest, hidden among the trees,
is a peaceful setting ideal for weddings. The chapel hosts up to 45 guests
and is a perfect venue for weddings.
Nestled in the vast gardens surrounding the house are 23
luxurious guest suites, individually designed and decorated with antique
furnishings for supreme comfort and privacy. As Hunter's is a family lodge,
children of all ages are more than welcome. A private children’s recreation
area with shallow swimming pool, a TV and video / games room, dining room, a
change room, jungle gym and thatch-covered sandpit are specifically designed
to keep children entertained and well cared for to ensure that guests remain
undisturbed.
