The Yellowwood
Lodge is an exclusive accommodation in Knysna, the heart of the South African
Garden Route.
We
take our guests back into time, to 1897, the time when the Yellowwood Lodge
was built. Knysna was a small sleepy town on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon.
Picture yourself in the lounge, veranda or garden, while Victorian ladies
and gentlemen enjoy a cup of tea or a sherry.

Lodge is beautifully situated and would fit in a Monet or Renoir painting
with grandeur and style from the 19th century. This is British colonial
Africa at its best.

Lodge is a stricly non smoking lodge, on this way we assure the freshness and
peace for each of our guests.
Ideally situated, 5 minutes from the Knysna Waterfront with its many shops
and restaurants and 5 minutes from the town centre.
Each
morning, the English breakfast is served in a unique atmosphere and charm
from the breakfast room with its yellowwood and chandeliers.
Enjoy sunset or sunrise from the veranda and see how the colours of the
lagoon change.
Guests can relax
in the pool surrounded by our palmtree garden where many birds species
visit.
