Established in 1852 and
steeped in history, the Sandford Park Country Hotel is gently nestled at the
foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains, a world Heritage Site in its own
right. Sandford Park's 41 hectares are conveniently located from the N3
between Johannesburg and Durban and offer dramatic views of the Berg.
Sandford offers 50
tastefully decorated and spacious rooms, all en-suite. Guests have a choice
of 26 traditional rooms, all with upcountry cottage décor and all under
thatch - being warm in winter and cool in summer. Or we have 24 new
Executive rooms, all with the modern features, private patios, bathrooms
with separate bath and shower and each with an amazing view of the Berg,
while lying in your bed! A honeymoon suite and rooms with fireplaces are
available, and require early bookings should you like to stay in one.

To be able to accommodate
the increase in number of GUESTS dining at Sandford, we have completed our
Restaurant expansion from a 60 seater to a 120 seater Restaurant. Our
restaurant can now be subdivided into 4 private sections, including a
smoking section. Fortunately, we were able to do this without losing the
incredible character of our restaurant with its cosy ambience and warm
atmosphere.
